1919 Red
2004
General Description:

1919 wines are dedicated to the year Chev. Anthony Cassar, at the young age of 16, laid the foundations to the company that is better known today as Marsovin. 1919 also symbolises his family's faithful Commitment to the Arts, so much so that every year a different local artist will be chosen to create two paintings inspired by the emotions the wine emanates, to adorn the labels of this wine. Marsovin first started producing 1919 in 2004, from grapes harvested from family owned vineyards in Malta. The production of this wine is strictly limited and each and every bottle is numbered to authenticate its issue.

Grape Varieties: Merlot, Shiraz & Gellewza
The Vineyard & Training Systems

Vertical trellis system, Cordon pruning and controlled drip irrigation for Merlot & Shiraz, Alberello for Gellewza and replacement cane pruning.

Yield, Harvest & Vintage Conditions
