Commitment to the Arts
Marsovin has a long standing relationship with the arts. For decades now the Cassar family has embraced and supported local artists through exhibition sponsorships and promotion.
Every year Marsovin commissions a local artist to paint two paintings based on the concept of the culture of wine. Marsovin uses these paintings as the main feature on two of its premium wines, 1919 Chardonnay, Girgentina and 1919 Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Gellewza.
The commitment from Marsovin towards the arts is much more than a simple marketing strategy; it is a commitment which derives from the love of the arts by the Cassar family.
More recently Marsovin took this commitment to another level by producing a range of D.O.K. wines by official appointment to the Caravaggio foundation. The range consists of six mono varietal wines with each wine carrying a Caravaggio masterpiece on the front label. What more from every bottle of wine that Marsovin sells it donates a sum of money to the Caravaggio foundation for the restoration and research of Caravaggio’s work.
