The scheduled tours are ideal for individuals who wish to visit the Cellars whilst exploring the Maltese Islands at their leisure. The tour commences with a historical introduction amongst original artefacts, followed by an explanation about the process of how the locally grown grapes are pressed, fermented and eventually transformed into Wine.

The visit to the ‘Ageing Cellars’ is a walk through the 400-year-old Cellars, which are authentic and true to Maltese heritage. Here you will find where Marsovin’s Premium Single Estate Wines are laid to rest and mature for over 12 months in 220 American and French oak Barriques, or barrels, together with Marsovin’s Quality Sparkling wine, produced in the Methode Traditionnelle – the famous “Cassar De Malte”.

The wine sampling is held in our wine bar, where our highly trained staff will guide your guests through a wine tasting session to sample the different Marsovin wines accompanied by a selection of local savouries. At the bar one also has the opportunity to purchase local Marsovin wines.

A visit to our Cellars is a unique opportunity to discover the true culture of Maltese wine and we look forward to sharing this captivating experience with you …

The duration of the tour is approximately 2 hours and takes place once a week October to April and twice a week May to September excluding public holidays. Pre-booking is necessary as bookings are on a first come first serve basis and dates and timings are subject to change from time to time without notice.
